Where It All Began
The origins of the Kuttukaran Group trace back to 1939, when Shri K. P. Paul began his entrepreneurial journey. What started as a small service venture gradually expanded into spare parts distribution and automotive retail, laying the foundation for Popular Vehicles & Services Limited (PVSL).
The Founder’s Vision
Shri K. P. Paul firmly believed that recognising opportunities and acting on them lies at the heart of entrepreneurship. He paired that belief with discipline and a deep commitment to customers, shaping the early direction of the organisation.

Established Popular Automobiles, an automotive spare parts business.

First Maruti Suzuki dealership - Kerala
Launched the first Maruti showroom in Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala, under Popular Vehicles & Services Limited (PVSL).

Entry into Commercial Vehicle Retail
Started Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealership operations in Kerala.

Maruti Suzuki dealership - Chennai
Started passenger vehicle dealership operations in Chennai.

Expanded Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealership operations in Tamil Nadu.
